The  Video Doorbell lets you see, hear, and speak to anyone at your door, anytime and from anywhere using the Virtual Keypad™ app — the same app that allows you to manage your security system’s intrusion detection and access control.

Any time motion is detected or the doorbell is pressed, you’ll receive a notification. Whether you’re home or not, you’ll be able to monitor who’s approaching and talk with visitors, all with a touch of your Virtual Keypad’s Doorbell tab.

Continuous Recording Option

For continuous recording, the Video Doorbell can be connected to the eight-channel SecureCom Network Video Recorder (NVR). This delivers 2 terabytes (TB) of encrypted storage.

Wi-Fi Configuration and Signal Strength

The Video Doorbell easily learns in with the Virtual Keypad app, so setting up Wi-Fi configuration for the device is simple. Once it’s learned in the first time, you can easily manage your doorbell’s Wi-Fi connectivity through the Virtual Keypad app, even if the Wi-Fi network changes.

To ensure the strongest Wi-Fi signal at the doorbell, the  is engineered to work on the 2.4 GHz frequency band, which covers a substantially larger range than 5 GHz networks. In particular, signals of 2.4 GHz frequencies penetrate solid objects such as walls and other obstructions far better than 5 GHz signals, expanding their reach outside.

Outdoor Design

The Video Doorbell is designed to withstand harsh environments as well as provide a high degree of vandal resistance. This allows reliable performance in most harsh environments. It also comes with four interchangeable faceplate options that are easy to install.
